If you like lending a hand to people in your own community, we have many different opportunities for you to make a difference in someone's life.
Here's a small list of things that you can get involved in:
Hamper and Christmas programs
Thrift store sorting and pickup
Seniors Fellowship
Food Bank support: distribution, clean-up, stocking
Youth Care: sports, education, training, outings
Community Family Events: quarterly family programs

Current Volunteer positions at the Salvation Army
The Salvation Army in Kelowna has many diverse volunteer opportunities available. You can be involved with anything from our Church, to our Thrift Store, to our Community Resource Centre, to our Emergency/Disaster Services or our Christmas Kettle Campaign and even our Senior’s Ministry.
You can make a difference by sharing your time, energy and skills. As a volunteer you will be making an investment in your community and will experience the joy and satisfaction that comes from helping others.

Download and complete the Volunteer Application Form (or call the office at (250) 860-2329 to receive a copy)
and submit to our office.
Attend an interview with the Volunteer Coordinator to ensure suitable placement.
A Criminal Record and/or Child Abuse Registry Check may need to be completed, at no cost to the volunteer
